It aired on Thursday nights at 9:00 p.m. following Smallville. Due to the 2007–08 Writers Guild of America strike , The CW was forced to limit the episode count to 16, despite its original 22-episode order.
The season arrived on DVD on September 2, 2008, and Blu-ray on November 11, 2008.
