The CW Television Network, simply referred to as The CW, is an American television network. The network was launched on September 18, 2006, following the merger between The WB and UPN. The network's president is Dennis Miller, succeeding Mark Pedowitz (who served as chairman and CEO from April 2011 to October 2022).[1] The network's slogan is "Dare to Defy".
On October 3, 2022, Nexstar Media Group acquired a 75% stake in the network, with Paramount Global and Warner Bros. Discovery retaining 12.5% each.[2]
